Mary Young Leckie is a renowned producer of great drama, from feature films, to brilliantly curated
movies and limited series for television, to her latest venture, a live stage musical.  Owner of Toronto based Solo Productions, Leckie’s touch has been felt in script rooms, on set and in the edit suites of some of Canada’s best know scripted content including the feature films Maudie, starring Ethan Hawke and Sally Hawkins, and Where The Spirit Lives starring Michelle St. John and Graham Green.  Limited series include The Arrow; Shattered City: The Halifax Explosion;  and Everest! Acclaimed films for television include An Officer & A Murderer, starring Rosif Sutherland & Gary Cole, Shades of Black starring Albert Schultz and Lara Flynn Boyle, Secrets of Eden starring John Stamos & Anna Gunn and The Louder We Get (formerly, Prom Queen: The Musical) was Leckie’s first venture into live theatre premiered in January 2020 to rave reviews and was the top selling show of the Theatre Calgary 2019-2020 season.
